To learn more about the American Revolutionary War, we heard from Robert Reyes, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the W3R (Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route) in Maryland/DC.   French forces came to our aid in defeating the British at Yorktown,  VA in 1781.   Our General Washington and French commander General Rochambeau and troops marched from White  Plains, NY to Yorktown via York, Taneytown, Frederick and on to VA.
